Some of Caledonian Cleaning’s services like external window cleaning have benefited from improved technology which has enabled the company to eliminate the use of detergents and other chemicals, because the water they use is so highly refined it cleans glass without leaving smears or streaks.
Where the company does have to use chemicals like detergents and disinfectants to clean toilets and other areas, they use the minimum strength required to do the job.
Caledonian Cleaning’s staff also follow the Health and Safety Executive’s Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) guidelines when dealing with chemicals and ensure that any residue is disposed of in the most environmentally friendly manner possible.
